Scientific Instrument Center was founded in 1973 and incorporated in 1977.  The original intent, was to offer optical, mechanical and electronic service to the highest standards in Industry, Hospitals and Research applications. Repairs are executed to restore instruments to original manufacturer’s specifications or better.  Calibrations are performed which meet the requirements of the National Institute of  Standards and Technology (NIST), College of American Pathologists (CAP),  Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Hospitals (JCAH) and other organizations.  Preventive maintenance  programs were set up both for industry and hospitals which truly maintain instruments in first class condition and working order.
